SLEEP EDUCATION

This session outlines the benefits of sleep optimization and recommends practical strategies to improve sleep duration, quality, and timing. One-hour sleep education presentation includes:

  • Learn why sleep is important for health and cognitive, physiologic, and physical performance

  • Discover the competitive advantage of optimal sleep through professional athlete sleep success stories

  • Gain practical strategies to improve sleep at home and while traveling

  • Assess baseline sleep health via a Sleep Profile questionnaire. Results are included in the presentation and are used to identify areas in which strategic sleep interventions can improve health, productivity, and performance.

Follow up presentation(s)

  • Dive deeper into focused topics on travel and jet lag management, how to best utilize sleep technology and wearables, and how to manage short sleep

WORKSHOPS

Customized workshops integrate sleep education and sleep performance services to educate and coach attendees on designing a personalized Sleep Performance Plan. Interactive workshops entail:

  • Sleep education presentation

  • Design a personalized Sleep Performance Plan using a provided Sleep Worksheet

  • Discuss sleep tools, technology, wearables, and other topics of interest

  • Assess sleep patterns via a provided Sleep Journal a week prior to the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to continue tracking their sleep the week following the workshop as they implement their Sleep Performance Plan.

SLEEP PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

A Sleep Performance Program provides a comprehensive approach to improving employees’ sleep health and performance.

  • Achieve sustained improvement in organizational health via education, assessment, and collaboration with existing resources

  • Train staff (i.e.select employees, nutritionists, mental health providers) to be Sleep Champions through education and by providing Sleep Tools

  • Develop bespoke sleep resources such as Sleep Rooms and Travel Sleep Kits

  • Retain access to an expert sleep resource for the organization

  • Scope and Fee to be determined with Dr. Mah

INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATION

Individual consultation provides personalized sleep assessment and recommendations.

  • Virtual consultation (one hour) + follow up consultation (30 minutes)

  • Assess sleep habits and patterns via an Expanded Sleep Profile questionnaire. Results will be discussed during the consultation to identify areas in which strategic sleep interventions can improve health and performance.

  • Obtain insights on sleep trends from a Sleep Journal or sleep wearable

  • Customize a Sleep Performance Plan and address upcoming travel or challenging sleep situations to optimize sleep and enhance performance
